Dead squirrels?

I keep seeing dead squirrels laying on the sidewalk. I have no idea why, maybe they're all getting sick....it's over a largish area so it's not some jerk poisoning them, I guess. Maybe West Nile?

About 3 in 2 weeks, I think. I can't recall now. I'm in northern California, the bay area.
