Actual blog-type thoughts
Feb. 5th, 2003 02:00 pm1:52. 8 minutes till my self-appointed start of work. Well, not really self-appointed. If I had any control over my sleeping habits I would work more reasonable hours -- 9 to 6, or something. But, instead, I wake up at noon and dink around on the net for 2 hours. I feel like a slave to my information addiction, and to my schedule.
Juli's sleeping on the floor, again. We never finished clearing the junk off the bed. The whole apartment is both simultaneously a mess and clean -- resultant of the Move That Wouldn't Die. Boxes everywhere, random objects strewn about the floor (as usual). Maybe I should only work a half-day, and drag Juli to Wal-Mart to get new pants. Hers are all ripped up. Also, I could really go for some Wendy's, for some reason. The thermometer says 30F though, so I'm not inclined to go outside. This is also why I haven't gotten to the bank. Maybe if I could wake up at a decent hour, I would have enough motivation and energy to study the darned driver's manual and move forward on this whole vehicle thing. As it is, Juli and I walk everywhere, and our lives are dominated by weather and physical energy.
2 minutes left.
I still haven't returned the DVDs either. NetFlix, of course. No Blockbusters within distance -- not that they had much of a selection last time I went. That was half a year ago.
1 minute. Enough whinging. Time to work. Blah. I should wake up Juli and consult with her on the Wal-Mart issue. Perhaps we should leave sooner rather than later.
Perhaps I should stop writing now.
