ETA: Orange peels are actually really interesting to draw. They have almost no intrinsic shape of their own, and so extreme attention must be paid to the individual shape and shading of each and every piece of peel. It makes it far more challenging to draw, yet also more pleasing, because you get a chance to work on a level of pure perception. There is almost no orange-ness, there is simply what you see.
