There's something all screwed up about the light levels today in Redmond. There's far more yellow and far less blue than normal. Now, while I'm willing to accept increased yellowness in the summer, when the sun is more intense overall, this sunlight is the oddly weak, yet yellow variety - not nearly dusk-level yellow, but still lacking some sort of vitality that I've come to expect for daylight. It's very annoying and in a way I'd much rather have the chilly blue dimness of a cloudy winter's day than I would this lukewarm yellow sense of foreboding.
