What gives?

There's this delightful Persian cafe on Hamilton St. in Palo Alto called Renaissance Cafe. I've written about them before, in fact. The service is quick, and the food is tasty, but the place is always practically deserted, even when all the restaurants along University and along Lytton are packed.

What's the deal here? Was there a scandal or something and nobody told me? Is it politically incorrect to eat Persian food? Or is it because the owner looks like Eugene Levy?
