Blind To Hipsters
Jul. 31st, 2005 09:39 pmHighlights of the day:
* Soyrizo is even better than meat chorizo, especially in a breakfast burrito.
* Went to the Mission: Juli had been talking about wanting to go to some Mexican place. I had been talking about wanting to go to this one coffee shop. They turned out to be the same place. (Don't remember the name, but it's right near 16th and Valencia). We ended up going to this El Salvadoran place instead and having papusas and empanadas de platano.
* Juli tried (and failed) to point out hipsters to me. I am blind to hipsters. It's my super power.
* I did not get a haircut despite needing one.
* Hearing Danny Elfman sing Oompa Loompa songs yesterday prompted me to buy an Oingo Boingo album.
* North Beach/Fisherman's Wharf is even more full of tourists than usual. Sadly I am not blind to tourists.
