I'm a transformer for your love
Mar. 27th, 2005 08:04 pmToday was a surprising amount of fun on 4 hours of sleep. In the first half, at church, Don Knuth gifted me autographed copies of his new books:
- The Art of Computer Programming: Volume 1, Fascicle 1: MMIX
- MMIXware: A RISC Computer for the Third Millennium
In the second half, I went up to the city to see TMBG promoting their new album. They played a short set of fan favorites and new songs. At least, that's what it *sounded* like. I couldn't actually see them because 200 people and their children had crowded into Borders to see them.
In between the two, I got to talk to lusitania.
My hopes for the third half of the day involve lots of pizza and carbonated beverages. Oh lord will there be carbonated beverages.
