Things to do

Been trying to think of some things to do to enrich my life. Here are a few:

• Learn another language, or practice my Spanish more. Surely there must be Japanese classes here.
• Trying to find out if there any (Unix/Linux/GNOME) Users Groups here. I used to be a regular of a LUG way back in OKC, but as far as I can tell there is just LUAU here, and they've stopped meeting.
• Church bell choir. I realize how dorky this sounds. I don't care. It was the one musical instrument I've ever been good on.
• Visit more museums, buddhist temples, libraries, etc. If I do this I will want to avoid the more touristy places.
• Other education prospects -- dunno on this one.
• Other community involvement -- dunno on this one.

Sing Along

I love how Dave Matthews in Blue Man Group's "Sing Along" acts as his own backup singer. Obviously it's just overlayed audio, but it always makes me imagine plenty of ghosted Dave Matthews running around simultaneously.
